It's Not all Baklava and Bougatsa!

Hi there! Welcome to my personal blog about a journey to Greece! This blog is not a travel blog on where and what to do in Greece. It’s about my journey here. Not to here, but while I’m here. I traveled alone to this beautiful country to experience it. I am blessed to be able to live in friend's home in a small port town outside of Athens, with the most spectacular view! I love walking the ports, walking the beach, seeking sea treasures and experiencing amazing sunsets. Do I love bougatsa, baklava and Cheese pie too? You bet I do! But it’s not all about baklava here in Greece ... for me at least. I love the sea and the treasures it presents. Some of you know since I moved to Florida, that if I’m not home, there is a good chance I am walking one of the beautiful beaches there. I plan to spend as much time as I can, not only walking ancient history steps and dwellings, but walking the shorelines and ports.

It is winter here which means 40s to 60s and very few tourists. I am here to not only learn more about myself as a solo traveler, but to learn about local living. I will do my best to post often to keep you updated as well as have conversation together. I hope you write back. This journey is yours as well as mine and I appreciate you coming along with me!
